A good time for Canada to bring in doctors and nurses from Poland

Struggling with the staff shortages in the health care system, responsible people wonder where to get medical personnel to cope with the needs related not only to the pandemic, but also to regular disease situations.

Good news. From today, May 16, incl. doctors and medical staff got additional motivation to emigrate from Poland. The ruling PiS party introduced an incentive to do more for the poorest by eliminating the income tax, and in return introducing a higher tax for middle-class and upper-class people and for the self-employed.

By now opening gates in immigration programs, as well as facilitating the recognition of diplomas, for European, including Polish, doctors and nurses, Canada can take over at least some of those who will emigrate to Germany and Great Britain. Because it is certain that they will emigrate, especially young and ambitious, not only doctors.

There is no time for months and years of deliberation. Canada needs doctors and nurses. Europe can provide them. Speakers of every language. It is enough to change a few variables in the scoring of the immigration system to open the door to those who can really make the change for good in Ontario and beyond.

Being on the topic of Europe, I would like to inform you that beautiful Italy from today accepts all tourists arriving from the European Union who have a negative test for the coronavirus. So, it is enough if you choose an airline that offers a flight to Italy with a transfer at one of the many airports in Europe and show a negative result to enjoy beautiful Italy. When you return to Canada, however, you will be in a hotel quarantine at the airport, unless the regulations change earlier, or until the post-Labor Day weekend, when Canada is likely to loosen travel restrictions with Europe.
