In Ontario 590 new infected and 11 more deaths
TORONTO – June 10, 2021: Canada stood today at 1,397,849 positives for Covid-19, an increase of 1.844 more cases than in the previous 24 hours. The number of victims – nationwide – today reached 25,862 total deaths, 30 more than on Wednesday. In Canada today the number of recovered people from the coronavirus stood at 1,352,244. Ontario today reached 538,077 overall positives, an increase of 590 new cases compared to Wednesday. The total number of victims in Ontario has meanwhile risen to 8,931, with 11 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 522,682 or 932 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 136,117 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,128 of the South African variant and 4,098 of the Brazilian variant.

In the city of Vaughan, the total number of people tested positive for Covid-19 was 21,671 today, with 15 more new infections than in the previous 24 hours. 279 deaths, with 3 more new deaths recorded today.
In Woodbridge today there were 9,291 total cases of positivity since the Covid-19 pandemic started, 6,700 in Maple, 7,443 in Richmond Hill and 12,490 in Markham.
In the Peel Region today there were 110,527 coronavirus positives, 96 more than the last survey and 771 total victims, with no more deaths than on the last bulletin. There were 108,941 healings recorded in total, while 3,051 people were hospitalized.
In Mississauga, the total number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus was 39,938 today, 37 more than last Wednesday. Also in Mississauga were today 438 victims so far, with no more deaths recorded, while there were 39,140 people recovered from Covid-19 and 1,454 people so far hospitalized due to the coronavirus.
