In Ontario 870 new infected and 10 more deaths today
TORONTO – June 3, 2021: Canada stood today at 1,386,817 positives for Covid-19, an increase of 2,273 more cases than in the previous 24 hours. The number of victims – nationwide – today reached 25,635 total deaths, 31 more than on Wednesday. In Canada today the number of recovered people from the coronavirus stood at 1,332,845. Ontario today reached 533,761 overall positives, an increase of 870 new cases compared to Wednesday. The total number of victims in Ontario has meanwhile risen to 8,801, with 10 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 514,999 or 1,563 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 128,559 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 954 of the South African variant and 2,921 of the Brazilian variant.

In the city of Vaughan, the total number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 was 21,557 today, or 41% of the entire York Region, with 30 more new infections than in the previous 24 hours. 263 deaths, with one more new death, recorded today.
In Woodbridge today there were 9,240 total cases of positivity since the Covid-19 pandemic started, 6,649 in Maple, 7,401 in Richmond Hill and 12,425 in Markham.
In the Peel Region today there were 109,784 coronavirus positives, 179 more than the last survey and 766 total victims, with no more deaths than on the last bulletin. There were 107,819 healings recorded in total, while 3,019 people were hospitalized.
In Mississauga, the total number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus was 39,599 today, 84 more than last Wednesday.
