La ricetta del giorno: Spezzatino di maiale alla birra

TORONTO – Dalle pagine del Corriere Canadese, la cucina di Teresina: ecco la ricetta per lo Spezzatino di maiale alla birra.

Ingredienti per 4 persone:
– 600 gr spezzatino di maiale
– 1 di carota – 1/2 cipolla
– 400 ml di birra rossa
– olio di oliva – salvia
– 1 cucchiaio di paprika dolce
– farina – sale

Prepara la carne a cubetti, tutti uguali delle dimensioni di circa 3 cm di lato e passali in una ciotola con farina, paprika e sale. Lava e monda la carota e la mezza cipolla, quindi prepara un trito fine (puoi usare un mixer). (more…)

Ieri ho inviato una e-mail a quello che pensavo fosse ancora un direttore del Columbus Centre. Si è scoperto che si era dimesso di recente. Ho seguito una telefonata che mi ha rivelato che le cose sono peggiori al Columbus Centre di quello che pensavo potessero essere.

Sembra che l’unica operazione che fa soldi siano gli appartamenti degli anziani. Tutte le operazioni sono ora controllate direttamente dal consiglio di Amministrazione di Villa Charities ad eccezione della struttura atletica (che ha bisogno di centinaia di dollari, se non milioni, per renderla commercializzabile) e della scuola di danza che sono entrambe controllate indirettamente.
