TORONTO – The provincial government is ready to change gears on the vaccination front. Starting in the next few days, the efforts of the Ontario health authorities will be aimed mainly at intensifying the vaccination campaign especially on the second dose, which until now is still a sore point, because the numbers on the recall injection are still too low compared to the other G20 countries. The provincial government has thus announced some changes in the roadmap announced previously, with the aim of reducing the time between the first and second dose of the Covid vaccine. (more…)

TORONTO – A survey on gender and sexual orientation will be conducted among grade 9 school children at all Catholic schools in Toronto. This is what was proposed during the last meeting of the board. The Archdiocese did not like the proposal and ruled against it. Criticisms were also drawn from Teresa Pierre of the ” Parents as First Educators ” association. “While collecting student data can provide useful information, caution is needed on how this collection is carried out. Catholic schools must refrain from asking children about their sexual identity and orientation. This is a practice that could confuse children; it raises privacy issues and concerns about parental involvement ”.
In the next edition of Corriere Canadese, we will publish a complete report on the matter.
Critiche anche da Teresa Pierre dell’associazione ’’Parents as First Educators’’.

Graeco-Roman and Judeo-Christian societies for millennia have explained the need for caution with metaphors revolving around the expulsion from the Garden of Eden and the opening of Pandora’s box. At their centre is a concept of “what could go wrong…it’s not a big deal”. (more…)

When COVID-19 has passed and life resumes to normal, the Canadian economy is unlikely to grow without further stimulus. At that point, the federal government may resort to typical stimulus tactics during recessions of infrastructure funding. I believe this is Canada’s big opportunity to build large infrastructure projects such as pipelines and public transit, but it should also be bold and fund the construction of new hospitals and schools. Wczoraj odbyłem długą rozmowę z moim serdecznym przyjacielem Tomem.
Polonia w Toronto courtesy of PNATA
Pokazywał im Kanadę i Amerykę Północną.
Teraz Tom potrzebuje pomocy. Dla Toma i jemu podobnych powinna nastąpić zmiana w Kanadzie. Diametralna i strategiczna. Epokowa! Teraz!
Komfort Kanady
Drugi „essential care” worker wbił igłę i podłączył kroplówkę.
Czeka go jednak jeszcze długa droga zanim wydobrzeje. Dlatego on i wiele innych osób z ciężkimi chorobami potrzebuje zmian teraz!
Mimo wszystko funkcjonuje o niebo lepiej niż system w Kanadzie.
Mieszkańcy Toronto potrzebują lekarzy i personelu służby zdrowia mówiących europejskimi językami, a więc po polsku, rosyjsku, ukraińsku, chorwacku, litewsku, włosku, grecku i portugalsku.
