On Friday, for the second day in a row, Russian health officials logged just over 20,000 new infections, numbers not seen in nearly five months. Total confirmed positive cases now surpass 5.4 million. Of the cumulative total, 91.1% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 601, close to the highest number of deaths reported in one day, 635, on December 24, 2020. (more…)
