Status update of Covid-19 cases worldwide

Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of March 28, 2022, at 5:00 pm EST.

On Monday, health officials in Germany logged 214,035 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 20.4 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 77.6% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 159 Covid-related deaths for a total of 129,106 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Ontario Child care agreement, $10 per day by 2025

Covid-19, positivity from 12 to 18% in 24 hours in Ontario

TORONTO – Sudden leap forward in the positivity rate of Covid-19 in Ontario: from 12.2% on Sunday to 17.9% today. Only at the end of January it was so high. And this despite the low number of tests carried out because of the limitation of swabs to the “at risk” categories only: just over 6,200 tests processed in the last 24 hours, which revealed the presence of 1,741 positive people. Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign

With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 32.0 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on March 28, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 3,928 vaccine doses on Sunday, down from, 10,358 doses the day prior.
