OTTAWA – Novità per i messicani che arrivano in Canada. A partire da ieri, i cittadini messicani hanno bisogno di un visto per entrare in Canada a meno che non soddisfino determinati criteri: la maggior parte delle autorizzazioni di viaggio elettroniche (eTA) esistenti per i titolari di passaporto messicano infatti verranno annullate. I cittadini messicani potranno richiedere una nuova eTA se stanno per volare in Canada e se: (1) hanno posseduto un visto turistico canadese negli ultimi dieci anni o (2) sono attualmente titolari di un visto non immigrato (non-immigrant visa) statunitense valido. OTTAWA – News for Mexicans arriving in Canada. As of today, at 11:30 p.m. Eastern time, Mexican citizens need a visa to enter Canada unless they meet certain criteria: most existing electronic travel authorizations (eTAs) for Mexican passport holders will be cancelled. Mexican citizens will be able to apply for a new eTA if they are flying to Canada and if: (1) they have held a Canadian tourist visa within the last ten years or (2) they currently hold a valid US non-immigrant visa.
