TORONTO – I suppose we all need to sprinkle a little water in our wine. A gentleman daily reader of our paper was offering some laudatory observations on why our publication has everything any informed citizen would want to read about Canada, Italy, Ontario, Toronto and so on. Then he offered some “constructive criticism”.
TORONTO – 40% of Canadians have no intention of getting the updated coronavirus vaccine: this is what emerges from a survey conducted by Ispos for Global News. The survey, conducted between October 20 and 23 on a sample of 1,000 Canadians over the age of 18, was released today and finds that of this 40%, 45% said they didn’t think it was worth doing the vaccine, 23% expressed concern about the safety of the injection while 7% said they were openly against the anti-Covid vaccine. TORONTO – Ontario Premier Doug Ford met face-to-face with Hamilton developer Sergio Manchia in 2021 to discuss removing his land from the Greenbelt in 2021, documents cited by the CBC reveal, which contradict what Ford himself had previously stated, that he has “no recollection” of meeting Manchia, nor was he aware of the proposed changes before 2022, when the removal of some land from the Greenbelt to make it buildable began.
