Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. TORONTO – 551 Covid-inpatients in hospital, of which 181 (-1) in intensive care: it is the lowest number of hospitalizations in Ontario since the end of December. There were also few deaths today: 4, bringing the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 12,336. However, the positivity rate goes up, from 12% on Sunday to 13.4% today, based on the 1,217 cases of Covid-19 identified in the last 24 hours through 8,644 tests (limited, we remind you, to the “at risk” categories only ). TORONTO – Covid-19: the number of hospitalized in Ontario still drops, but the number of victims remains high: today another 19 bringing the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 12,307. TORONTO – Il numero di ricoveri per o con Covid-19 in Ontario rimane sotto quota 700 per il secondo giorno consecutivo e i ricoveri in terapia intensiva si mantengono sotto i 250: ieri erano 693 i pazienti in ospedale – nei reparti ordinari – con il coronavirus, contro i 684 di domenica, mentre in ICU si è passati da 247 a 249. TORONTO – New decline in Covid-19 hospital admissions in Ontario: from 847 patients on Wednesday, they dropped to 834 today, the lowest number since last December 29, when the number of hospitalized patients was 726. TORONTO – Covid-19, è sostanzialmente stabile il numero dei ricoveri inOntario: ieri i posti-letto occupati da pazienti-Covid negli ospedali dell’Ontario era pari a 849, contro gli 842 di domenica. Cala invece ancora il dato delle terapie intensive, da 281 pazienti domenica a 279 ieri (dei quali 171 con il ventilatore). Il numero totale dei ricoverati resta ancora abbondantemente sotto quota mille, dove era sceso per la prima volta proprio l’altro ieri. TORONTO – Covid-19, the number of hospitalizations in Ontario is stable: today the beds occupied by Covid-patients in Ontario hospitals amounted to 849, compared to 842 on Sunday. On the other hand, the figure for intensive care still drops, from 281 patients on Sunday to 279 today (of which 171 with ventilators). The total number of hospitalized still remains well below one thousand, where it fell for the first time just the day before today.
