Covid-19, la positività risale e supera il 18% in Ontario

TORONTO – Covid-19, lieve calo delle ospedalizzazioni ieri in Ontario: 1.626 i pazienti negli ospedali per (il 45%) o con (il 55%) il Covid-19, contro i 1.662 dell’altro ieri. Nelle terapie intensive si registra invece un leggero aumento, dai 203 pazienti di mercoledì ai 207 di ieri: qui il 62% è in ICU per il virus mentre solo il 38% è stato ricoverato per altri motivi e poi al momento del test di ingresso in ospedale ha scoperto di avere anche il Covid-19…

Covid-19 in Ontario, positivity rises and exceeds 18%. Another 38 dead in Quebec

TORONTO – Covid-19, slight decline in hospitalizations today in Ontario: 1,626 patients in hospitals due to (45%) or with (55%) Covid-19, against 1,662 yesterday. In intensive care instead there is a slight increase, from 203 patients on Wednesday to 207 today: here 62% are in the ICU due to the virus while only 38% were hospitalized for other reasons and then at the time of the entrance test in hospital discovered that it also has Covid-19.  (more…)

Covid-19 in Ontario, positività dal 12 al 18% in 24 ore

TORONTO – Improvviso balzo in avanti del tasso di positività al Covid-19 in Ontario: dal 12,2% di domenica si è passati al 17,9% di ieri. Soltanto alla fine di gennaio era stato così alto. Covid-19, positivity from 12 to 18% in 24 hours in Ontario

TORONTO – Sudden leap forward in the positivity rate of Covid-19 in Ontario: from 12.2% on Sunday to 17.9% today. Only at the end of January it was so high. And this despite the low number of tests carried out because of the limitation of swabs to the “at risk” categories only: just over 6,200 tests processed in the last 24 hours, which revealed the presence of 1,741 positive people.  (more…)

Ontario accelerates second dose: from tomorrow all Ontarians Aged 18+ Becoming Eligible

TORONTO – Ontario pushes on the accelerator. Starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning, all Ontario residents aged 18 and over who received the first dose of an MRNA vaccine will be able to book an appointment to receive the second before schedule. This will accelerate second-dose eligibility for about 1.5 million Ontario residents. (more…)
