Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – Where is it better to live? In Canada or the United States? Canadians have no doubts: in their own country. This is what emerges from a survey carried out by Abacus between 11 and 17 July on a sample of 1,500 adults. The result is overwhelming: only 1 in 10 Canadians think it would be better to live in the United States. For 91%, Canada is better. And this “feeling” is quite consistent in all the provinces of the country. (more…)
The ousted PM of Pakistan, Imran Khan wrote in a tweet message (in the pic above) on May 2 that, “US wants an obedient puppet as PM” while clearing the doubt about his ouster, the ‘regime change conspiracy’.

The Latin American Film Festival, in Canada, will present from May 7 to 14, a selection of films of different genres made by directors from Argentina, Mexico, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile and the Dominican Republic, among other countries.
