
TORONTO – On October 22, St. Margaret’s Mary Roman Catholic Parish in Woodbridge, led by Father Rory Grayda, celebrated its 65th anniversary with a gala evening.
Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.

TORONTO – What students and teachers at the George Harvey Collegiate Institute are preparing to do is not a repatriation like so many others. On Saturday, from noon to 7 pm, they will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the school.

Washington, D.C. – On Friday December 3, 2021 at 11 am, the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C. and the United States Department of State will join to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program worldwide with a panel discussion titled “Fulbright Fellows’ Contribution to the Fight against Covid-19,” in the year that marks the 160th anniversary of Italy-US diplomatic relations. →
Customers traveling on the TTC may notice special photo exhibits being installed in 12 select stations over the next week. The displays commemorate the transit agency’s 100th anniversary.
On September 1, 2021, the TTC will celebrate 100 years of moving Toronto. The photo exhibits are the first in a series of events being planned to mark this historic milestone and are being done in partnership with the City of Toronto Archives.
