TORONTO – The whole world is on alert. The new Omicron variant of Covid-19, first identified in South Africa, has been classified as “worrying” by the World Health Organization. From one competition to another: Canadians anticipate the imminent call of the federal election

Canada is gearing up for another type of competition following the end of the Tokyo Olympics. A political race so to speak. With campaign plans at the ready, speculation mounts that the imminent election call could be days away.

Many Canadians have concerns about holding an election in the middle of a pandemic. Pressing on Premier Ford to anticipate Step 3

TORONTO – Pressure continues on Premier Doug Ford to bring forward Step 3 of the reopening roadmap. According to the roadmap wanted by the provincial government, the plan on the progressive relaxation of anti-Covid restrictions should comply with two pre-terms: one refers to the mass vaccination campaign in Ontario and the other on timing. The transition from Step 2 to the next is conditioned by the percentage of vaccinated throughout the province. (more…)
