ORILLIA, Ontario –The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with several criminal offences in connection to the January abduction and disappearance of Elnaz HAJTAMIRI (in the pic, from by the Hajtamiri family). The 37-year-old Elnaz — who also goes by the surname TAMIRI — was abducted on January 12, 2022 from a residence in Wasaga Beach, Ontario by three suspects dressed in police gear, but not actual uniforms, in what is believed to be a white Lexus RX sport utility vehicle.
Twenty arrests and the seizure of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana worth $61 million, in what Toronto police call the largest drug seizure in its history. This is the result of an investigation dubbed “Project Brisa” that lasted for six months focusing on an international drug-smuggling ring: over a thousand kilograms of drugs were transported to Canada from Mexico and California in the hidden compartments of trucks with modified trailers. Twenty-year-old Nathaniel Veltman appeared in court yesterday via video link accused of intentionally running over and killing a Muslim family in London. The 20-year-old who has so far been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder, is now also accused of terrorism. (more…)
