Of the cumulative total number of cases 91.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 79 Covid-related deaths for a total of 162,688 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
TORONTO – The requirement to wear masks in Ontario’s risky facilities, which was due to expire on April 27, will remain in place at least until June 11. The restriction therefore still remains valid in nursing homes, doctors’ offices, reception centres and care facilities that provide care and services to medically and socially vulnerable people.

With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 32.5 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on April 24, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 20,928 vaccine doses on Saturday, down from 35,549 doses the day prior.
