Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – “My daughter died on April 13: she had a rare congenital heart condition, she underwent a heart and lung transplant screening but she was too weak and did not survive: so, she donated her body to the hospital so that it can be studied to learn more about his rare condition and, in this way, help others live longer if possible”. Divina, mother of Lisa-Anne, tell us the story of her daughter.
Two months following the ground-breaking experiment, the first person to receive the first genetically modified pig heart transplant has died. The patient, 57-year-old David Bennett, passed away on March 8, 2022. (more…)

TORONTO – Hospitalizations on the rise, but there are only two more patients in intensive care. Today, in Ontario, the number of patients in hospitals increased by 296 units: now they are 4,183, of which 580 in intensive care, even if for the latter the increase is very slight (on Monday the people present in the hospital were 3,887, of which 578 in intensive care). A British journalist and former managing director of Ekushey TV and advisor to Jamuna TV in Bangladesh, Simon Dring (in the pic) has died on Friday in late news relayed while undergone for an abdominal surgery at a Romanian hospital while he suffered a massive heart attack and was not revived.
