Flamborough-Glanbrook MPP, focused on expanding opportunities for all

Created in 2015, the provincial electoral district of Flamborough-Glanbrook is situated along the southern outskirts of Hamilton. The riding encompasses the rural portion of the City of Hamilton, including part of the Niagara Escarpment. It covers an area of 125 square km, slightly smaller than that of Turin, Italy, but with a population density about one seventh that of the Italian regional municipality.

Thanks to improvements in key health indicators, Ontario will move into Step 3 of the province’s reopening plan on Friday. That means the easing of Covid-19 restrictions for several public health and workplace measures including capacity limits for indoor/outdoor settings. It also opens opportunity for more Ontarians to return to work.

The Facebook group Study Work Live En El Exterior invites today April 8, at 11:30 am, to listen to some of the most influential Hispanics in Canada, among which are Elvira Sánchez de Malicki, founder and former president of the Canadian Hispanic Congress; the lawyer Fernando García; the film director Norma Weis and Bernardo Riveros, international director of Strategies at Global University Systems.

The objective of the Facebook group is to inform about destinations, academic programs and institutions that may be of interest to students from LATAM and other regions.
