Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
AGRIGENTO – The song and the video clip “Eremita d’amore” (“Hermit of love”) by the Sicilian singer-songwriter Salvatore “Sal” Marchese (in the pic) is online from today 7th October, on the official Vevo, Facebook and Instagram channels of the artist, as well as on the various digital music platforms. Luca Gaudiano (in the photo), a young singer-songwriter from Foggia, is the winner of the “Young” section: the thirty-year-old from Puglia won the final on Friday 5 March with the song “Polvere da sparo”, triumphing over the other three finalists Wrongonyou (with “Lessons in flight”), which won the Critics’ Award “Mia Martini”, Davide Shorty (with “Regina”) who was awarded the Press Office Award “Lucio Dalla” and Folcast (with “Discover yourself”).
