The electoral district of Honoré-Mercier in Quebec appears poised for another Liberal victory. Formerly known as Anjou-Rivière-des-Prairies, it is located east of the constituencies of Bourassa and Saint-Léonard – Saint-Michel and includes parts of the city of Montréal.

TORONTO – Somewhere out there, in an 18,000 square foot warehouse, table cloths and 5,000 chairs are rotting away. When you have an event, you need napkins, cutlery, places for people to stand, places for people to sit.  Things like these, which you may never have paid much attention to before, in their own small way, contribute to the fabric of the Events Industry – on the brink of extinction, thanks to COVID-19.  (more…)

Without false humility, I can recall the years spent in the “public spaces” dominated by, and reserved for, religious minorities from other places. It was my duty as a public official to help the integration process where reciprocity, inclusion and rule of law were and are values common to us all. (more…)
