Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – “My daughter died on April 13: she had a rare congenital heart condition, she underwent a heart and lung transplant screening but she was too weak and did not survive: so, she donated her body to the hospital so that it can be studied to learn more about his rare condition and, in this way, help others live longer if possible”. Divina, mother of Lisa-Anne, tell us the story of her daughter.
ROME – “The polls say that Fratelli d’Italia is the first party in Italy, and the first party of the coalition will indicate the name of the premier. MASSA – Six doses of vaccine. Whole vial. Not even during the Pfizer overdose trial had a similar amount been tested: it stopped at four. But the young woman who was accidentally injected with the “super-vaccine” apparently is fine and after 24H observation in the hospital she was discharged. (more…)
The Ministry of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship of Canada (IRCC, for its acronym in English) received a new indictment for slowing down the process of sponsorship of foreigners by their Canadian partners. This time it is Lauren Degilio, a Montreal woman, who accuses the IRCC of discrimination when trying to obtain permission to bring her husband Iosvany Vega Pileta, who lives in Cuba, to Canada.
