China likes the new Italian premier

[GTranslate]Relations between the new Italian government and China are expected to be excellent. On the morning of February 13, indeed, Prime Minister Li Keqiang called Mario Draghi to congratulate him:  China likes the new Italian cabinet.

According to the magazine “Cina in Italia” (click here: La Cina si congratula con il nuovo premier Mario Draghi), Li Keqiang agreed that Draghi is the ideal man to lift Italy from the crisis it is experiencing, especially thanks to his technical skills which at this moment are crucial for the country, more than any frivolous political rhetoric.

Gian Franco Gallo, political affairs analyst at ABS Securities, told Xinhua that Draghi is “the man known globally for saving the euro in 2012”, referring to his work in the ECB for lowering interest rates loan and for strengthening the European financial system.

Within this context, China is looking with enthusiasm at the new cabinet made up of politicians and new technical figures, under the expert guidance of Mario Draghi. So, Li Keqiang (in the pic below) renewed China’s

willingness to support Italy in the new challenges, confirming the already good relations between the two countries.
