On Saturday, health officials in the Philippines logged 2,605 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 2.8 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 97.2% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 191 Covid-related deaths for a total of 44,430 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 249 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 226 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.0 million worldwide.
Spain has not updated status of Covid-19 cases since November 5, 2021.
