TORONTO – Paul Calandra, yes, the Minister of Education for Ontario, seems to have found the origin of the rot afflicting, and spreading through, our school systems: individuals on ego trips with personal agenda that have little to do with in-class performance of children. Except that this Minister appears to be “calling them out” and “shaming them” as part of a plan to put in place a correcting governance plan to win the favour of parents in the process.
