On Tuesday, health officials in Greece logged 3,428 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed half a million. Of the cumulative total, 91.0% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 14, brining the total number of fatalities to 12,972.
Globally, over 199 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 180 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.2 million worldwide.
