On Monday, health officials in Russia logged 18,325 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 6.9 million. Of the cumulative total, 89.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 792, bringing the total number of fatalities to 182,429.
Globally, over 216 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 194 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.5 million worldwide.

Poland has not reported any Covid-related fatalities on August 29, 2021.
