On Monday, health officials in Russia logged 29,409 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 7.8 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 88.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 957, bringing the total number of fatalities to 217,372.
Globally, over 237 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 216 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.8 million worldwide.
Poland has not reported any Covid-related fatalities on October 11, 2021.
