Of the cumulative total number of cases, 86.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 592 Covid-related deaths for a total of 90,306 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 272 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 245 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.3 million worldwide.
