On Monday, health officials in Russia logged 152,337 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 15.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 80.5% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 735 Covid-related deaths for a total of 346,235 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 425 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 352 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.8 million worldwide.
