On Thursday, health officials in Germany logged 82,285 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 14.1 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 88.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 111 Covid-related deaths for a total of 122,733 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 430 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 360 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.9 million worldwide.
