On Sunday, heath officials in Poland logged 312 new infections in the last 24-hours. This marks the lowest single-day increase since September 2020. The official national tally is more than 2.8 million confirmed positive cases since the start of the pandemic. Of the cumulative total, 92% are considered recovered. In the last day, Covid-related deaths increased by 13 for a total of 74,152 fatalities.
Globally, over 173 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 157 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.7 million worldwide.
Spain has not updated status of Covid-19 cases since June 4, 2021.
Bangladesh has not updated status of Covid-19 cases since June 5, 2021.
