Read More in Corriere Canadese >>>

Clash in the provinces, still statistical parity between O’Toole and Trudeau

TORONTO – Five days before the vote, conservatives and liberals are in substantial statistical parity. The latest polls confirm that the distance between the two parties is below the 2 percent threshold, which represents the margin of error and therefore certifies how the balance of power, expressed in the voting intentions of the Canadian electorate, has crystallized into a generalized parity.

Read More in Corriere Canadese >>>

Effect of debates: liberals catch up the lost ground

TORONTO – With the televised debates Erin O’Toole had the chance to close the game, but evidently was not able to take advantage of the opportunity. This is the key to reading that derives from the analysis of all the polls carried out in Canada in September, which highlight how in the first week of this month the Conservatives had consolidated a good margin of advantage over the Liberals, but how, at the same time, after the double confrontation between the leaders of the parties this advantage has been dissipated. At this moment, after a phase of substantial statistical parity between the Conservative Party and the Liberal Party, it is Justin Trudeau who has returned to play the role of front runner in view of the vote on September 20.  (more…)

NDP and PPC curb O’Toole’s ambitions

TORONTO – The difficulties of Jagmeet Singh and the rise of Maxime Bernier are holding back Erin O’Toole. And, as a result of the inertia that has been created, Justin Trudeau is smiling, relaunching his ambitions for the conquest of the third term after those resulting from the vote of 2015 and 2019. To provide us with the change in the balance of power in this race for the federal vote is the snapshot taken by the latest polls that highlight how between the Liberal Party and the Conservative Party there continues to be a tight head-to-head on which, however, weighs enormously what is happening on the right and left in the Canadian party arc.  (more…)

The movement founded and led by Maxime Bernier at the baptism of fire in the 2019 elections did not do very well: just 294 thousand votes throughout the country, equal to 1.6 percent, no elected deputies and the same leader beaten in his electoral district of Beauce by former party comrade Richard Lehoux.
