Covid-19 in Ontario, ricoveri ancora sotto quota 700

TORONTO – Il numero di ricoveri per o con Covid-19 in Ontario rimane sotto quota 700 per il secondo giorno consecutivo e i ricoveri in terapia intensiva si mantengono sotto i 250: ieri erano 693 i pazienti in ospedale – nei reparti ordinari – con il coronavirus, contro i 684 di domenica, mentre in ICU si è passati da 247 a 249. Aumenti lievi, dovuti comunque al fatto che nel weekend alcuni ospedali non aggiornano i dati. Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of March 7, 2022, at 4:40 pm EST.

On Monday, health officials in Russia logged 73,162 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 17.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 86.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 668 Covid-related deaths for a total of 356,949 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Covid-19 in Ontario, hospitalizations still below 700

TORONTO – The number of hospitalizations for or with Covid-19 in Ontario remains below 700 for the second in a row and intensive care hospitalizations are left below 250: today there were 693 patients in hospital – in ordinary wards – with coronavirus, against the 684 on Sunday, the ICU went from 247 to 249. Small increases, while some are still due to the fact that hospitals do not update the data over the weekend. The downward trend in hospitalizations in Ontario is therefore confirmed, despite the slight increases.  →

On Sunday, health officials in Italy logged 35,057 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 13.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 91.0% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 105 Covid-related deaths for a total of 155,887 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Covid-19: hospitalizations are still falling

TORONTO – Covid-19, for the first time in two months the number of patients in intensive care in Ontario falls below 250: today they were 247. And 684, in total, hospitalized, a sharp decline compared to 795 patients present on Saturday. It is also true that not all hospitals report patient data over the weekend, but the decline is still substantial and confirms the trend of the last few weeks.  →

On Friday, health officials in the Germany logged 203,972 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 15.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 76.4% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 252 Covid-related deaths for a total of 124,517 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

TORONTO – Nuovo calo delle presenze ospedaliere Covid-19 inOntario: dagli 847 pazienti di mercoledì si è scesi agli 834 di ieri, il numero più basso dallo scorso 29 dicembre, quando i ricoverati erano 726.
