“Olesya is not Denise”: hope
collapses on TV like in a reality show

TRAPANI – Olesya is not Denise. The hope of having found the missing girl from Mazara Del Vallo (Trapani, Italy) on 1 September 2004 lasted a few days. As in a reality show, the mystery was revealed during the show “Let them talk” broadcast today (but actually recorded yesterday) on the first Russian channel and which saw the participation, via Skype, of the lawyer of Denise Pipitone’s family, Giacomo Frazzitta (in the pic, during his speech on tv), who gave voice to the anger at how this story was handled by television Russian who wanted to wait for the broadcast of the program to “break the news” that was keeping everyone in suspense, especially the mother of the missing child. “It would never have happened in Italy and I am proud to be Italian,” said the lawyer.

During the Russian “show”, there were some women who hoped to be who the mother, who the cousin, who the sister of Olesya and to “find out” envelopes containing the results of the DNA tests were opened, to be compared with that of Olesya, present in the studio. A sort of “mothers lottery” that infuriated the lawyer Frazzitta. “We do not play with people’s lives – said Frazzitta during his speech on the” show “-: in Italy we are serious, we do not do these pantomimes. Tell me what Olesya’s blood type is and we will tell you if it is the same as that. by Denise, otherwise I close the connection “.

At the end of the transmission on the lawyer’s cell phone, the Whatsapp message with Olesya’s blood group arrived. “It’s not Denise’s, I’m sorry for Olesya who is looking for his mother” Frazzitta replied live.

The blood test therefore shattered the dream of Piera Maggio, Denise’s mother, who hoped to have found her daughter after almost 17 years: Olesya – the same age as Denise and very similar to the mother of the little girl – had said that she was she was kidnapped in 2004 and ended up in an orphanage, but it’s not Denise. The blood group is different, it is useless at this point to compare the DNA. To the mystery of Denise’s disappearance, now another is added: who is Olesya?
