Of the cumulative total number of cases, 81.8% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 136, bringing the total number of fatalities to 138,080.
Globally, over 239 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 217 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.8 million worldwide.
