On Saturday, health officials in the UK logged 90,418 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 11.2 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 86.4% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 125 Covid-related deaths for a total of 147,173 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 274 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 246 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.3 million worldwide.
Spain has not updated the status of Covid-19 cases since December 17, 2021.
