On Monday, health officials in Germany logged 28,630 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 12.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 70.6% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 127 Covid-related deaths for a total of 120,707 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 412 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 335 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.8 million worldwide.
