Of the cumulative total number of cases 79.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 790 Covid-related deaths for a total of 343,173 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 419 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 343 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.8 million worldwide.
