On Wednesday, health officials in Greece logged 22,451 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 3.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 90.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 62 Covid-related deaths for a total of 27,454 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 486 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 421 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.1 million worldwide.
