On Sunday, health officials in Poland logged 224 new infections, the lowest single day increase in roughly one year. Of the cumulative 2.8 million confirmed positive cases, 92% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 11 bringing the total fatalities to 74,573.
Globally, over 175 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 160 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.7 million worldwide.
Spain has not updated status of Covid-19 cases since June 11, 2021.
