On Tuesday, health officials in India logged 36,316 new infections pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 32.0 million. Of the cumulative total, 97.4% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 468, bringing the total number of fatalities to 429,183.
Globally, over 203 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 183 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.3 million worldwide.
Poland has not reported any Covid-related fatalities on August 10, 2021.
