On Thursday, health officials in Russia logged 88,816 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 11.4 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 88.8% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 665 Covid-related deaths for a total of 328,770 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 364 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 289 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.6 million worldwide.
