On Sunday, health officials in Germany logged 97,935 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 11.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 73.0% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 27 Covid-related deaths for a total of 119,359 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 394 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 314 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.7 million worldwide.
