On Saturday, health officials in Ontario logged 355 new infections. Of the cumulative 541,880 confirmed positive cases, 97.6% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 13 pushing the province’s death toll passed 9,000.
Globally, over 177 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 163 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.8 million worldwide.
Spain has not updated status of Covid-19 cases since June 18, 2021.
