On Sunday, health officials in Germany logged 5,267 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 4.2 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 94.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 13, bringing the total number of fatalities to 93,979.
Globally, over 231 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 209 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.7 million worldwide.
According to health officials in Ontario, in addition to the 3 Covid-related fatalities reported on September 26, three death occurred more than one month ago.
Figures for the Philippines do not reflect complete data for September 26, 2021. Spain has not updated status of Covid-19 cases since September 24, 2021.
