On Wednesday, health officials in Poland logged 18,021 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 4.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 87.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 775 Covid-related deaths for a total of 92,829 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 276 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 248 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.3 million worldwide.
