On Sunday, health officials in Poland logged 34,088 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 4.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 85.2% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 25 Covid-related deaths for a total of 103,844 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 350 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 279 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.5 million worldwide.
