On Saturday, health officials in Russia logged 121,228 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 4.8 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 87.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 617 Covid-related deaths for a total of 330,728 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 373 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 295 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.6 million worldwide.
The values for India, Portugal and Spain do not reflect complete data for January 30, 2022.
