On Monday, health officials in Spain logged 60,707 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 9.9 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 62.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 87 Covid-related deaths for a total of 93,225 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 376 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 298 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.6 million worldwide.
