On Thursday, health officials in Poland logged 54,475 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 5.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 81.4% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 307 Covid-related deaths for a total of 106,060 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 386 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 306 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.7 million worldwide.
